Butler Fury Giving Back to the Community

Generous donations from those trying out

During try-outs, Butler Fury collected food items and backpacks for the street ministry Hope in Action.  We were given so many generous contributions for Hope in Action and we really want to thank all those participated.  It was really great to see so many of the players and families be so giving.

We still need donations this week.  Please help! Below the link to the Signup Genius with two great opportunities.

  1. Join us this Sunday, June 10 from 6 - 8 PM! We want to have a solid representation of players and families. Fury members and families are invited. Hope in Action will speak to us about their ministry, engage us in a conversation about the humanity of homeless people, and let us tour their van and kitchen where they work weekly to serve. Royal Redeemer Church. ***Note, if you are bringing donations or food on Sunday, please arrive at 5:30. We need to get everything organized and in the heating oven before our discussion. 7127 Dutchland Pkwy, Liberty Township, OH 45044

  2. Sign up to volunteer time, food, or goods to help Hope in Action with their ministry.  We really need some people to make and freeze breakfast burritos.  I can arrange a pick up time from you if you can't be there on Sunday.  Also, if 2 older, mature teens (16+) or adults can join the team to deliver the meals, I understand that it will be a powerful experience.  I have know Amy Tincher (our contact) since my kids were little.  She was the first soccer coach and swim coach for my kids.  She is a music minister at Royal Redeemer.  She will make sure that the teens/adults who travel are safe and careful.  All directions are on the sign up genius below.  We really want 100% participation for all Butler Fury families.  Please help if you can!
